Deacon Brodie's Tavern
Established in 1806, Deacon Brodie's Tavern is named after an infamous Scottish character. Brodie was a deacon who was a bank robber by night, and became a legend for the double-life he lead. He is believed to be the inspiration for the Robert Louis Stevenson novel Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde. A restaurant serves the upstairs.
